Born right here at CZCAN Vlcaks, Missy is one of two treasured holdbacks from our “A” litter — the daughter of our own Juniper (Juni) and Larkin. She inherited her father’s striking looks and goofy, playful energy, along with her mother’s intelligence and focused work ethic — a truly special combination.

From the start, Missy has shown incredible promise. Confident, curious, and engaged, she is always eager to learn and explore. Whether she’s keeping up with the big dogs or shadowing us on the farm, Missy moves with purpose and presence.

Her socialization has already included a wide variety of enriching experiences — from puppy yoga classes and horse shows to hiking adventures and professional photo shoots. These outings have helped her build confidence in new environments and around people of all ages.

​

Missy is also growing up alongside Zuzi, a sweet blue merle Border Collie x Australian Shepherd mix who has become her emotional anchor and everyday companion. Much like Hilux is to our adult dogs, Zuzi will help guide Missy and her sister Rosie in social situations, providing them with reassurance, confidence, and a steady presence as they mature and experience the world together.

She is picking up training with impressive focus, and we have high hopes for her future in both the show ring and our breeding program — pending successful health clearances in 2027. Missy is the planned future breeding partner for our male, Rye, whose calm, nurturing nature pairs beautifully with her energy and drive. We’re confident this pairing will bring forward exceptional temperament, structure, and working ability.

We’re also hoping she’ll follow in Rye’s paw prints as one of our next Canadian Pet Expo representatives — helping to educate the public and share just how special and versatile the Vlcak breed truly is.
