Born and raised right here at CZCAN Vlcaks, Rosie is one of two pups we held back from our 2025 “A” litter — the daughter of our pair, Juniper (Juni) and Larkin. While her sister Missy may carry more of her father’s looks and personality, Rosie is very much her Aunt Jinn’s twin — in both looks and temperament.
Rosie is calm, observant, and thoughtful in new environments. She doesn’t rush in, but watches, thinks, and then responds with careful intention — a trait we cherish in her Aunt Jinn and now see beautifully mirrored in Rosie. But don’t let her reserved nature fool you — she inherited her mother Juni’s intense prey drive and love of the chase, making her a spirited and focused pup when working or exploring the outdoors.
She’s quickly becoming a confident, balanced member of our pack and is already showing excellent promise in early training. Like Missy, she has been well-socialized with a range of experiences, including puppy yoga, horse shows, hiking, and photoshoots. Her calm energy in busy environments gives us great hope for her future as both a public ambassador and a working partner.
Rosie is growing up alongside Zuzi, our blue merle Border Collie x Australian Shepherd mix. Zuzi plays an important emotional support role for Rosie and Missy — helping guide them in social settings, offering a calm presence, and giving them confidence much like Hilux has done for our older dogs.
Pending successful health clearances in 2027, Rosie is planned as a future breeding partner for Rye. The balance between her gentle, introspective nature and Rye’s sweet, goofy energy is one we think will complement each other beautifully in temperament and structure.
Rosie might be quiet at first glance, but her spirit, smarts, and drive make her a standout. We’re so excited to see what the future holds for her as she carries forward the legacy of her incredible lineage at CZCAN Vlcaks.
